Welcome to the 5 Minute Workout Club!

Looking for a way to get motivated in your practice, to streamline and energize your learning?

Trying to get better at your jazz chords, faster with your pedals, tune up your ears, and be generally comfortable with enharmonics?

But you’re stuck, don’t know how to make it happen?  How to set time aside and get motivation and focus, to go from the intention to the “hands and feet” (and ears, eyes, heart..) ??

The 5 Minute Workout Club might be what you’re looking for!  It’s a series of weekly 5-minute videos, each of which has a quick and fun practice session on a specific technique–a chord, an interval, pedal movement, rhythm…

The videos cover topics which I think are essential as well as interesting, subjects that I’m working on in my own practice and with my students, and which I think would also be useful to others.

The mini practice sessions are designed to help you gain an active understanding  of the most useful chords and other theoretical subjects.

I’ll send a message when the new weekly video is online to inspire you to come to the “clubhouse” and do a workout–and of course you can also drop by anytime.

Plus there are periodic virtual “open studio” sessions on zoom, during which we do a few live workouts, plus you have the possibility to ask about anything : theoretical questions, practice approaches, wishes for specific exercises, etc.

Believe me, it’s much more fun to work on chords when you’re not alone, with a virtual trainer!
